Potential Moving of State Roads from Populated Parts of Belgrade – Tender for Traffic Analysis on Routes Which Pass Through the City Opened

The Secretariat for Traffic of the City of Belgrade has opened the public procurement procedure for the preparation of documentation with an analysis of the degree of jeopardization of traffic flows for the network of state roads through settlements in the territory of the City of Belgrade. The estimated value of the procurement procedure is RSD 66.7 million.

The subject of the project task is, as said, the service of “The Project of Traffic and Traffic Signalization for the Network of State Roads Through Settlements in the Territory of the City of Belgrade”.

The task of the public procurement procedure is to review the routes of state roads through settlements in the territory of the City of Belgrade, and based on the results of the review the manager of the state roads needs to be provided with a proposition of amending the Reference System of the Routes of State Roads Through Settlements in the Territory of the City of Belgrade.

Among other things, the analysis will encompass a review of the position of the existing traffic signs marking the beginning and the end of a settlement, as well as determining the degree of jeopardization of traffic flows on the network of state roads through settlements based on the traffic accidents and to assess the security characteristics of the state road sections through the settlements.

It is also necessary to prepare the project of traffic and traffic signalization, with the prepared technical control, and to form a database of the designed traffic signalization and equipment along the routes of state roads through settlements in the territory of the City of Belgrade.

The purpose of the project task, as pointed out, is to secure the basis for the potential review of the routes of the state roads through settlements in the territory of the City of Belgrade and amending the Reference System of the Routes of State Roads Through Settlements in the Territory of the City of Belgrade in line with the potential changes of the routes of state roads through the settlements.

Another purpose is to delineate the jurisdictions in maintaining state roads through settlements in the territory of the City of Belgrade with the state road manager PE Roads of Serbia and the installation of suitable traffic signalization and equipment of state road sections in settlement zones and lowering the risks on state road sections through settlements in the territory of the City of Belgrade.
