Belgrade to Get a Network of Electric Vehicle Chargers – Tender for Preparation of Detailed Plan Published

In the upcoming period, the City of Belgrade plans to build a network of chargers for electric vehicles. The public procurement procedure that has been published envisages the preparation of the plan for the future network, and the value of the procurement has been estimated at RSD 2.5 million.

According to the documentation, as the market of hybrid electric vehicles and electric vehicles increases, so does the need for a greater availability of public charging stations grow. A station for the charging of electric vehicles is a point for recharging with electrical energy and is part of the infrastructure necessary for the charging of electric vehicles, such as electric cars, hybrid vehicles and other electric vehicles.

The plan should set the number of charging stations and their locations. It is also needed to define, in detail, the policy and the technology of payment, to assess the potential revenues and their flows, to define the potential business models for the realization of the plan and to estimate the total value of the network of charging stations.
