The World Transport Overseas (WTO) Group, which offers intelligent transport solutions and provides a range of services, from container transport, through road and air transport, to customs brokerage, continues to achieve success.

This year, WTO Group was awarded the prestigious Forbes Business Service Award for 2024 and opened two new offices in China, as well as a representative office in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The group now has over 300 employees at 25 locations in 12 countries.

In an interview with eKapija, director Bogdan Gavrilović points out that the company will continue to push the boundaries in transport, logistics and supply chain solutions. One of the novelties is a direct train service from China to Belgrade, which, as our interlocutor notes, is an unparalleled solution on the Southeast European market.

eKapija: How much does the 2024 Forbes Business Award for Services mean to you?

- We are excited that WTO Group is a winner at the Forbes Business Awards 2024, repeating its success from 2020! The prestigious Forbes Business Service Award 2024 confirms our commitment to business and innovation in the logistics sector. The award was received by the General Director of the WTO Bulgaria, Svetlin Peshev.

Many thanks to our dedicated team whose hard work and perseverance made this possible. We are also immensely grateful to our customers and partners for their continued trust and support.

This award motivates us to continue pushing the boundaries in transportation, logistics and supply chain solutions, providing superior service that meets the dynamic needs of our customers.

eKapija: Which new representative offices did you open in 2024?

- In the course of 2024, we successfully continued our group`s Vision 2030 strategy plan and opened new representative offices. In addition to the two previously opened offices in China, in Shanghai and Ningbo, we successfully opened our representative offices in Shenzhen and Chungking, which is a particularly "interesting" location due to its connection with Europe by rail.

In addition to the mentioned offices in China, there is also a newly opened office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, more precisely in Sarajevo, where, headed by our dear colleague and great expert in the field of logistics and transport, Vladan Kuharević, we expect very good results and extremely good future intercompany cooperation.

Their joining marks a significant expansion of the WTO Group, which now has over 300 employees at 25 locations in 12 countries.
