How the trains, procured by Serbia from China for the EXPO, could look like

The protocol on understanding and cooperation which the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic signed with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the CRRC company Liu Xianqing foresees the procurement of nine new electric trains from this Chinese company. The new trains will be used for the Belgrade city railway, i.e. the BG train.

- These trains are designed for a speed of 120 km per hour and will connect EXPO, Nikola Tesla airport and the national stadium with Zemun Polje. When the entire BG train network is reconstructed and upgraded, we will have 39 new compositions for seven BG train lines in full scale - wrote Vesic on his official Facebook account, along with sharing the appearance of the future train.

The trains should be delivered by the end of 2026 at the latest.
