Bambi to Invest EUR 12 Million in Factory This Year – Planning to Triple Production

Bambi has presented the Research & Development (R&D) Center within its factory in Pozarevac, in which EUR 2.5 million was invested. Investments in the expansion of the infrastructure, introduction of new technologies, automation of packing and arrival of new lines, worth nearly EUR 12 million, are planned for this year.

An investment of close to EUR 12 million, as they announced, will be the biggest individual investment in the company’s history.

It is added that Bambi will be able to double or even tripe the current production and enable the supply of central Europe.

In addition to the R&D Center, as said, works on the expansion of the infrastructure, introduction of new technologies, automation of packing and arrival of new lines are also planned, as part of the Master Plan whose realization will fully transform the company.

The R&D Center, which started working in early 2023, spreads on 1,400 m2 of functional space, and it is unique for its mini production line which enables greater flexibility in the development of new products.

As said, the installation of solar panels in the factory and the upgrade of the energy efficiency of the entire equipment and the introduction of hybrid vehicles are planned as well.
