– We will take care for people in Serbia to be more satisfied and for the investors in Serbia to be more satisfied as well. We want to maintain that level of 60+ percent of attracted foreign direct investments in the country, because that is what creates the advantage for Serbia compared to all others in the Balkans – he said at the press conference at the Second European Political Community Summit in Moldova.
When asked by the press whether there was talk at the round table about the joint purchase of energy at lower prices and whether the countries of the Western Balkans could count on aid, Vucic said that he was not sure whether that could happen.
– We have asked for more aid and support, whether there will be any – I believe so, because Ursula [von der Leyen] has been very open regarding that issue. How much? I don’t know. Are there problems with the EU budget? There are. We have enough money and enough reserves in Serbia, they don’t have to worry about that – he said.
