Powerchina Interested in Investing in Solar and Wind Power in Serbia

Powerchina is interested in investments in energy in Serbia, especially in solar power plants and wind farms, and it has great experience with hydro power plant projects, stated the director, Sheng Yuming.

At the meeting with Serbian Energy Minister Zorana Mihajlovic, Yuming talked about the possibilities of cooperation on projects in the field of renewable energy sources (RES) and at the same time presented the most important projects and activities of the company in the field of clean energy on the global level.

– Serbia is at the beginning of the energy transition process, we have adopted a new legal framework in the field of energy and we are interested in cooperating with the best world companies which have the knowledge and the experience, especially when it comes to RES – Mihajlovic said.


She added that Serbia and China had had good cooperation on the construction of transport infrastructure and that she believed that there was potential for cooperation on projects in the field of energy as well.
