The Turkish company Kozuva is interested in investing in the sector of renewable energy sources in Serbia, said the general manager of the company, Osman Kaya. In a conversation with the minister of mining and energy of Serbia, Zorana Mihajlovic, he added that they were especially interested in investments in wind farms.

– We are interested in investments in the RES sector in Serbia, because we know that the business environment is favorable, that we can count of a quick and efficient obtaining of all the necessary permits. Our goal is to expand the company’s operations and that is why we want to take part in the production of energy from renewable sources in Serbia, especially when it comes to wind farms – Kaya said.

The minister pointed out that Serbia needed new investments, because “for over three decades, we have not built a single electrical energy capacity, and we are at the beginning of energy transition and we need quick and efficient investments”.

– The room for investments in this field is enormous and we want to see the world’s best companies in Serbia. Renewable energy sources are the future, especially when it comes to big hydro power plants, wind farms and solar power plants – said Mihajlovic.
