The deadline for the completion of the entire gas pipeline is October 2023. The Serbian section of the gas interconnection will be 109 kilometers long, and the total length of the two-way gas pipeline through both states is 170 kilometers and it will be designed for a capacity of 1.8 billion cubic meters of gas a year.
The total value of the project is EUR 85.5 million, of which 25 million is a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB), 49.6 million are grants from the IPA fund of the EU, and the remaining sum of approximately EUR 11 million will be secured from Serbia’s budget and the funds of the company Srbijagas.
The project of the construction of the main gas pipeline MG10 Nis-Dimitrovgrad entails the installation of two gas pipelines of the DN 700 size for a pressure of 55 bars, as well as four measuring-regulation stations with auxiliary facilities.
