American Multinational Company ADM to Buy Sojaprotein from Becej

The American multinational company ADM has signed the sales and purchase agreement with Victoria Group on the acquisition of its company Sojaprotein from Becej, and the completion of the transaction is expected upon the approval by the regulatory bodies.

The great interest of foreign investors in the past period, which should result in the arrival of the world giant ADM to Becej, followed the new investments in Sojaprotein’s production, excellent business results and presence in the foreign markets in the past two years, the company announces.

Products made from Serbian soy will now be available to new clients in the global market, and the company will present its even richer offer in the markets of over 60 countries to which it has been exporting for years, stated Stefan Babovic, the director of operations at Victoria Group.

– The arrival of the world-renowned strategic investor, with a tradition of 120 years and a global value chain, from the farms to the shelves in retail stores, is proof of our company’s success and sustainable model, but also a great compliment for Serbia and our agricultural-food sector. Since its founding in 1977, Sojaprotein has been processing genetically unmodified soy exclusively.
