Trans Oil Group from Moldavia is to buy the edible oil plant in Sid, which is owned by Victoria Oil, a member of Victoria Group, and the purchaser is ready to pay EUR 100 million, Agrosmart reports. Victoria Group, the leading buyer and processor of oil plants in Serbia, and Trans Oil Group, the largest agri-industrial holding in Moldavia, have brought the sales and purchase negotiations to a close after several months, the portal writes.

They add that there are speculations in the agri-business circles that the Moldavian company is ready to pay EUR 100 million for Victoria Oil's plant.

Agrosmart learns that the intention of Trans Oil, after the purchase in Serbia, is to enter the Croatian market, where it is negotiating with the leading local oil plant, Tvornica ulja Cepin.

The majority ownership over Victoria Group belongs to MK Group, which announced this July that it had finalized the purchase of a 67% stake in Victoria Group.

Then shareholders Milija Babovic and the company Apsara thereby became minority owners of Victoria Group, which, in addition to Victoria Oil, also includes Sojaprotein, Victoria Logistic, Veterinarian Institute Subotica and Port of Backa Palanka.
