Serbia and Russia Restart Talks About Sales and Purchase of Sukhoi Superjet 100 Aircraft

At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Russia and Serbia went back to discussing the purchase of Russian passenger aircraft S SJ100 (Sukhoi Superjet 100), announced the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.

As RIA Novosti reports, at the meeting between the deputy prime minister of Russia, Yury Borisov, and the minister for innovations and technological development of Serbia, Nenad Popovic, which was also attended by the minister of industry of Russia, Denis Manturov, among other things, the agreement under which Serbia would buy the aircraft was discussed.

In October 2019, Russia announced that it was negotiating with Serbia about renewing the fleet of the national airline carrier, Air Serbia, with S SJ100 aircraft.
