The European Innovation Council (EIC) is one of the biggest investors in innovative technologies with a budget of over EUR 10 billion in the next few years! These funds are meant for innovators which deal with new technologies, wherever they are in Europe, including Serbia, is the message of the First Regional Info Day of the EIC, held in Belgrade, according to the website of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS).

The event was a unique opportunity for innovative startups and SMEs from Serbia and the region to get important information, directly from representatives of the Council and experts of the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), about the sources of finance available to them and the process of application for EU funds, to exchange experiences with successful grantees and to learn more about the technique of presenting ideas.

The adviser to the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Milun Trivunac, says that a CCIS survey has shown that companies which use innovations, invest in new technologies every day and use the creativity of their employees, achieve much better results, higher productivity and bigger growth.
