Once most famous manufacturer of mineral water now in bankruptcy - "Milan Toplica" ready to start production after it gets new owner at auction

At the request of creditors and workers, the Court of Commerce in Niš has made the decision to put Prokuplje-based company "Milan Toplica" in bankruptcy. In that way, the knot caused by the privatization of former most famous manufacturer of mineral water in our country and in Europe will be untied.

Miroljub Dimitrijević, the bankruptcy manager appointed by the Court of Commerce, told "Politika" that he had immediately introduced emergency measures to get the picture of the situation in the company. The inventory of property has been done and the business documentation has been examined.

- I still can not specify the exact value of the property or the debts to the workers and other suppliers. Not all the documentation has been filed, so that we will have to do the appraisal of the property and invite suppliers to submit their claims in order to have complete insight in the situation prior to January 25th, 2010, when the session in the Court of Commerce will take place. I hope that "Milan Toplica" will be able to stand on its feet quickly, that is, that it will be sold at the auction to someone who is going to organize production since there all the conditions for that are provided - Dimitrijević claims.
