"Stylos" gave up procurement of "Prosveta"
Business system "Stylos Group" from Novi Sad, the parts of which are two renowned publishing companies, announced that it was not going to submit the bid for procurement of publishing company "Prosveta".
According to the announcement of "Stylos", the reasons for such decision are the global economic crisis, which demands from all strategically oriented companies to have responsible and well-thought approach to investments, and poor economic situation in "Prosveta", as well as many unsettled legal and financial issues.
Last week, Serbian-Italian publishing company “Euro-Giunti” also gave up procurement of "Prosveta" and, according to the claims of some media, "Beli put" and Polish publisher "Libertas" have also given up the takeover of that company, while "Zepter book" and "IPS medija" are still interested.
The Privatization Agency announced the last week that the bidder with the best offer would be known by the end of March.
