VLADAN ŽIVULOVIĆ

Vladan Zivulovic was born in 1956 in Belgrade where he graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade. He entered the legal profession in 1982 and took his jurisprudence exam in 1984.

During his successful career as a lawyer, Mr. Zivulovic was also Director of the Institute for Geopolitical Studies (1996-1998). He printed many titles including:

“Kosovo and Metohija - Challenges and Answers” - issued in 1997, Belgrade
“Geopolitical Reality of Serbs” - issued in 1997, Belgrade
“Great Albania-Concepts and Possible Consequences” - issued in 1998, Belgrade
“Geopolitics of Chaos” - issued in 1998, Belgrade

From 1998 until 2000, Mr. Zivulovic was Chairman of the Council for Democratic Change. This NGO united the Serbian diaspora and democratic forces in the country. During his 3 years at the Council for Democratic Change, Mr. Zivulovic coordinated many activities against the Milosevic regime, including: the organization of the Conference in Saint Andrea, Hungary, where all the opposition parties against Milosevic met for the first time. In 1999, Mr. Zivulovic’s NGO published the Handbook for Democratic Government in Serbia. Prominent Serbian experts from relative fields proposed in this handbook the manner by which to solve short-term and long-term political and economic problems after the fall of Milosevic.

Mr. Zivulovic is currently President of the Atlantic Council of Serbia and Montenegro (ACSM). This organization has been a member of the Atlantic Treaty Association since 2001. The Atlantic Council of Serbia and Montenegro recognized for promoting Euro-Atlantic values and Euro-Atlantic integrations.

As a lawyer, Mr. Zivulovic is also legal adviser to his Royal Highness, Prince Aleksandar II Karadjordjevic. His specialization is corporate law. Mr. Zivulovic is also Director of the Fund for Military Defense System Reform for the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro.
