Programmers from Belgrade develop first photo verification app

A team of programmers from Belgrade has developed the VerifiedByPi app, which will enable users to determine whether a photo is photoshopped or not.

– The photograph in question needs to be taken through our app, which will be simple to use and downloadable from an internet store – Sava Zivanovic of Tehnolosko Partnerstvo, which initiated the project, explains for Novosti.

He adds that they are targeting Instagram and TripAdvisor users, but also all those who need to know whether a photo has been manipulated.

Young programmers will be further developing the app in the upcoming period so as to enable the checking of documents.

The first installation is expected soon, and considering that this is a new thing in the market, the young experts believe that they will be successful.

The Tehnolosko Partnerstvo team has also developed a platform for safe communication within the “Mi delamo” project. This platform offers the service of online card payment and payment through text messages, as well as encrypted calls. The photo verification service will be included soon.
