The Boostowski app has been designed and created to stimulate an ideal manager for every sales assistant, the Netokracija portal writes. The idea behind the app is to improve and upgrade retail operations. This app, in fact, generates and analyzes all the data that actual managers don't have time to process due to other obligations.

Retail sales assistants are thereby provided with a tool which helps them with their everyday obligations, whereas owners and directors of retail facilities are provided with help in running their business through training courses, reports, an insight into the execution of the plans and so on. Biljana Zdrale, a co-founder of this startup, had worked for a long time as a consultant and a trainer in the retail sector. At one point, she realized that nothing significant had changed in the field for years.

– I invited Djordje Filipovic of 30Hills and presented this idea to him. After several talks about the potential project, we decided to start realizing the idea.

Zdrale points out for Netokracija that the app provides its users with an overview of what has to be done and to what extent in order for the planned results to be achieved, as well as how many bonuses they will earn if they exceed the set result.

Among other things, Boostowski sends information about the user's (sales assistant's) progress twice a day. The owners, or the upper management, of the retail chain can see through the app the progress of their employees, communicate new information (about discounts, new collections etc.), create mini-training courses and tests and see how much their employees know about the products and how skilled they are.

As in every technological startup, Biljana says that the biggest challenges are of technical nature, the largest among them being the integration with cash registers and people counters.

Regarding the business side of the project and the monetization of this platform, the team behind this app has already signed contracts with two local retail chains, whereas the business model is based on the owners' paying monthly usage fees, Netokracija writes.
