Super Bake and Between system win this year's contest of CCIFS' Startup Accelerator
The French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (CCIFS) has realized the Startup Accelerator contest, a program of free mentorship for startups and companies founded within the past year, for the second year in a row. Two startups have been chosen and they will be supported by CCIFS over the next year.
CCIFS had received 20 applications, four of which were then shortlisted. After being presented to the members of the Managing Board, two projects were selected: Super Bake, a social entrepreneurship initiative, where retired women prepare home-made cookies, and the Between system, for a quick and simple financing of invoices of small and medium enterprises.
The winners are now a part of a one-year program of free mentorship support by members of the Managing Board of CCIFS in all aspects of doing business: legal, marketing, financial and project aspects, all to the end of the further development of their business.
Members of the Managing Board, the directors and managers of the biggest French companies that operate in Serbia, will use their experience contacts and ideas to help startups develop their business. Also, the winners have become eligible for membership in CCIFS, thereby increasing their visibility and expanding the network of their contacts.
CCIFS initiated this program aiming to support entrepreneurship and contribute to the development of startups, at the same time implementing the best French business practices. Supporting startups is one of the priorities of the economic policy in France.
