ICT Hub Venture invests in Shootset, a start-up for connecting photographer and models - Investment cycle lasts until the end of November
The first private investment fund in Serbia, that invests in IT companies, has made an investment into ShootSet , a start-up agency from Pancevo that connects photographers with models.
As the ICT Hub Venture site states, from its start in January 2017 the fund has realized 7 start-up companies investments.
ShootSet is the funds latest investment. It concerns an online platform for directly connecting photographers and photo-models. The important thing is the fact that both sides go through the selection process that the team behind this start-up organizes. The purpose of the selection is to give quality service to the users of this platform. On the one hand, the selection process involves verifying the photographer and their business in order for ShootSet to guarantee the professional approach and provide a safe work environment for models hired by the photographer.
On the other hand, the models send their modeling portfolios during the application process and the team of experts sorts them in one of the three categories – “beginner”, “rising star” and “recommended”. The four-member team of the start-up consists of the CEO and ShootSet founder Mihajlo Petrov, established model and the expert for the modeling industry Milos Radovanovic and Alen Ankaitzan and Ivan Maloparac who complete the developing team. With this team and within ICT Hub Ventures ShootSet will continue to improve their platform and to expand their product to the global market. So far, few thousand photographers and models across the region have recognized the value of services ShootSet offers and the global market is next. ShootSet's first step outside the Balkans will be to conquer the capital of photo-industry – Los Angeles in the USA.
ICT Hub will try to support and mentor them in various ways on their journey in order for Shoot Set to reach their goals easier.
Beside financial support, start-ups also get access to a network of mentors and other contacts.
ICT Hub Venture investment consists of three components.
The first component is financial and can amount to around EUR 50,000 for 5-15% of the ownership in the company.
The second component relates to software and mentor support designed to suit individual needs of members of every team and includes developing the necessary business and developing skills.
The third and final component is access to contacts network and ICT Hub sales channel.
