Serbia providing EUR 10 million for science-technological parks, business incubators and startups
Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic announced on Sunday, November 19, that the state would invest at least EUR 10 million in startups, business incubators and science-technological parks, above all in Novi Sad and Nis.
– This will create a good foundation for making top quality engineers, leading to optimal profitability – Vucic said and announced that investing in science-technological parks was only just being planned.
He explained that the calculations show that an investment of EUR 50 million allows for the education of around 10,000 IT experts a year.
He added that EUR 10 million would be set aside initially, and that the investments would increase afterwards.
Vucic estimated that Serbia was turning to modern technologies, as it wanted to become a part of the modern world.
