November to see Smederevo-based ITG u garni hotel in Belgrade
By the end of the year, the city center of Belgrade will get another hotel since Smederevo-based company, ITG, is finishing the construction of a catering building in Mije Kovacevic Street in Palilula.
Stevan Barovic, the Project Manager at ITG says for eKapija that 90% of works have been finished.
- The construction started in 2012 and we expect the opening in November.
A four-star garni hotel will have 30 rooms. It will comprise a restaurant, a mini café bar and a conference hall with 80 places.
We opted for this kind of a hotel, Barovic says, because it proved to be the easiest one to manage since Belgrade lacks more accommodation capacities.
- Our target group comprises business people who will, with favorable prices, get maximum
of comfort and quality. Guests will be provided with fast Wi-Fi internet, sound
isolated rooms and the location of the hotel in the narrow city zone between
Vukov spomenik and Bogoslovija is a special advantage for guests.
The contractor poured EUR 2,5 mil in the ITG hotel construction. Smederevo-based company is a construction firm operating mainly in the construction of residential facilities, industrial facilities, steel and concrete halls and warehouses, shopping malls, special-purpose facilities, etc.
This is the second time they are investing in catering facilities in Serbia since they own Barovic villa in Zlatibor.
