Real estates, most attractive segment for investments - conference on real estates market in southeast Europe commenced

The fact that the investment in real estates is one of the most attractive segments in the economy on our market is confirmed by the number of guests at the Second annual conference, which is organized by Ekonomist Media Group, under name "Real Estates Market in Southeast Europe – Comparative Advantages in Region and Future Trends", which is held in Belgrade-based hotel "Hyatt".

- The interest in the participation in this meeting is excellent. This year we introduced one innovation, so that, in addition to the classical panels, the discussions will be set up too. Both panel speakers and participants will be able to take interactive part in the conference – said Biljana Stepanović, the Deputy Manager of Ekonomist Media Group, while opening the conference.

Milan Parivodić, the Minister of International Economic Relations, stated that the year 2007 would be decisive for the passing of the laws that regulate ownership relations.

- Several laws in this field will be adopted in 2007, such as the Law on denationalization, Law on property, Law on public property. There will be no satisfying progress, larger investments and prosperity for the country without clear definition of ownership relations – Parivodić pointed out.

On the first day of the Conference, the participants will try to give answers to the questions like: What does attract investors?, Trade centers and hotels - new form of investments in southeast Europe?, Investment funds for real estates in southeast Europe?, and many others.

This meeting will try to sum up the innovations on the real estates market in the region, the most attractive segments for investments, the roles of investment funds, as well as how much they stimulate the market growth, the obstacles faced by the investors on the market, State's relation with investors, etc.
