Porto Novi, a luxury summer resort in Herceg Novi that is expected to be as good as the summer resorts of Monte Carlo, will be finished in three years. Behind the biggest tourist project in Europe at the moment is the Azmont Investments company which plans to invest about half a billion euros in the construction of the complex.

Portonovi will be the first One&Only summer resort in Europe. Occupying an area of 24 hectares, this complex won't stand out from the rest of the Montenegrin coastal architecture by its look, defying the current trend of modern glass buildings with traditional red roofs and white stone.

The complex will comprise 550 rooms, villas and suites, whose average size will be 60 square meters. There will also be a wellness center, two marinas for yachts, large sandy beach with 900 deck-chairs, and a congress center that can accommodate 800 visitors.

- Aside from large accommodation facilities, this summer resort will also house about 250 stores and 20 coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Once opened, we expect it to attract about 25,000 visitors on weekends, but the exact price of accommodation will be determined after the market analysis is done – James Wilson, the general manager of the project, said recently.
