Marriott to build another hotel in Sarajevo

The world's number one hotel operator and the third largest hotel chain on the globe - U.S. Mariott, made a decision last year to build a Marriott Residence Inn hotel in an attractive location in the very center of Sarajevo.

With the support of Mariott's partner Southeast Investment Company (SEIC), this EUR 7.5 million project should be completed by the year's end.

However, the Bosnia-Herzegovina news agency Patria has learnt that Mariott plans to have another hotel built in Skenderija in addition to the one already mentioned. Patria journalists have visited that location and seen for themselves that the works are being carried out according to an accelerated schedule.

The workers they found on the building site confirmed that it was yet another hotel of the famous hotel chain. The contractor for this multi-million investment is a company from Bosnia-Herzegovina which is expected to finish the works in May.
