Carrefour to open first store in Novi Sad - French retailer to have two stores in operation in Serbia by year's end

Carrefour's first supermarket in Serbia will be opened in Novi Sad, said people at CMB Bulgaria, the franchisee of the famous French retailer.

CMB Bulgaria confirmed the web portal Seenews their plans to open a store in Novi Sad, stressing that they cannot reveal more details about that project at the moment.

CMB Bulgaria is a subsidiary of CM Balkans (Carrefour Marinopoulos Balkans) which is the exclusive holder of the Carrefour franchise for the SEE market.

Bulgarian media announced in mid-January that Carrefour supermarkets should be opened in Belgrade and Novi Sad by the year's end.
