Vivo Shopping Park construction kicks off in Jagodina

The foundation stone for Vivo Shopping Park was laid Thursday in Jagodina. This shopping complex, which will employ about 300 people, should be completed by June 2014.

The foundation stone was laid by Transportation Minister Aleksandar Antic and Jagodina Mayor Dragan Markovic Palma.

Antic said on that occasion that that investment was significant for the city, region and Serbia.

The new shopping center will be situated on the site adjacent to the tourist complex Djurdjevo Brdo, in the vicinity of the aqua park, zoo, city stadium, and the Vax Museum.

Pavle Andric, the majority owner and director of Vivo Shopping Park, said that the future shopping center would cover a surface area of 25,000 square meters with retail space occupying some 10,000 sqm.
