Novi Sad to get aqua park in 2014 - Swimming pools, spa and wellness center on fairground site

A modern aqua park with a wellness and spa center should be built next year on the site of the Novi Sad Fair as part of the fairground expansion and improvement project, Novi Sad Fair Director General Dragan Lukac told Tanjug news agency.

- We plan to expand our core activity - organization of trade fairs and exhibitions, by turning the part of the fairground that is attractive to citizens and is of no use for the Novi Sad Fair into an aqua park featuring a spa and wellness center - said Lukac.

Pointing to excellent preconditions for the implementation of this investment, he added that the space for the aqua park on the fair grounds had practically not been used over the past three decades.

Speaking about the plans of the Novi Sad Fair, Lukac noted that the number of fair exhibitions must be increased next year.

- We must boost our revenue, increase responsibility and discipline in work, that is, we all must engage ourselves maximally in order to make our company a benchmark for all other companies of the kind - said the director general of the Novi Sad Fair.
