How will aqua park in Vrnjacka Banja look like? - Take a peek into athletic and recreation complex Raj

Although the winter is not giving up yet, despite the fact that the spring has officially begun, many people already daydream about going to a summer vacation and enjoying themselves at the seaside, lake, or at least a swimming pool.

Aqua parks have been gaining in popularity in Serbia over the past few years, and the latest news on that topic arrives from Vrnjacka Banja spa resort.

Whether an aqua park for 10,000 people is going to be finished by the summer, as it was announced, is still unknown. For now only preliminary designs are completed and an investor is being awaited.

However, that is not a reason for us not to take a peek into the future athletic and recreation complex Raj, as it is called on the municipal website vrnjackabanja.gov.rs. See how the swimming pools, sports center, water slides and other features of this complex should look like.

Unlike existing water parks in Serbia, the one in Vrnjacka Banja would feature a so-called continuous river, that is, a body of water moving in a circle as a river and "carrying" visitors.
