Mount Stara Planina to obtain sports center, swimming pool and suite complex - Search for new investors as of April 2013

A large 5,000 sqm sports and recreational center featuring an indoor swimming pool, spa center and sports courts will be built at Jabucko Ravniste, northwest of Stara Planina, Miroljub Bozinovic from the public company Stara Planina said Saturday (2 March 2013).

As Vesti Knjazevac reported, this complex will be intended for sports teams in addition to tourists.

Also, the plan is to build commercial facilities with a large number of outlets and restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel and the gondola, as well as 20 so-called multifamily houses featuring suites that could accommodate between 350 and 400 people. As people at the public company Stara Planina announced, investors will be invited in a month's time to submit a letter of interest for the construction of this suite complex.

The whole project will be implemented in phases over the next two or three years.

The suite complex will make it possible to double the accommodation capacity at Mount Stara Planina in the years to come, Vesti Knjazevac reports.
