Lidl buys land in Nis - German discount chain interested in another two land lots in city on the Nisava
Germany's Lidl supermarket chain has bought a land lot across the road from Bricolage in Duvaniste, where it is going to have its first out of three stores in Nis built.
As the daily Juzne Vesti reports, M Centar Power has bought this land from the city at an auction, but on behalf of the renowned market chain.
Besides, Lidl has also bought neighboring lots.
Ljubisa Janic, head of the Nis Property Administration, says that the representatives of Lidl are also interested in another two locations in the biggest city in the south of Serbia.
By the way, M Centar Power was the only bidder at the auction, so that it bought the land at the starting price of RSD 9,000 per square meter.
Lidl has so far purchased land lots in Subotica, Zrenjanin, Novi Sad and Valjevo.
