Grand Hotel at Dubrovnik on sale

Today the Atlantska plovidba company decided to sell the Grand hotel with land at Lopud. Since it is about cultural property real estate, Atlantska plovidba has first offered real estate to the Croatian Government, to the Dubrovnik–Neretva County and to the City of Dubrovnik, which is in line with the Law on protection and maintenance of the cultural property.

The Grand hotel is rusty and currently not operating. Atlantska providba bought it from Dubrovnik in 2005, then planning to rehabilitate and reconstruct it into a high-class hotel. The crisis, which stopped all company non-shipping investments, delayed rehabilitation but the hotel already has location permit.
