Oaza MB tourist and sports center opens in Backi Petrovac - 6,000sqm complex soon to get swimming pool with thermal water
Vojvodina Prime Minister Bojan Pajtic opened Wednesday (25 April 2012) the tourist and sports center Oaza MB in the local community Glozan in Backi Petrovac, it was announced on the website of the Vojvodina government.
- Only two days after the opening of an aqua park, Backi Petrovac gets another tourist complex to supplement the offer of this part of Backa with new facilities. This complex, together with the aqua park, will provide jobs not only for people who will directly work in the tourism sector, but also for those to work in the service sector, that is, in transport, trade and food industries. This is also a significant stimulus for agricultural producers in this area, who will definitely find new buyers for their products - Bojan Pajtic pointed out.
Milan Bozovic, the investor and owner of Oaza MB, said that the tourist and sports complex with accompanying facilities (motel and lakes) had been opened after two years of works. The construction of tennis and futsal courts is in its final stage, and so is the work on a swimming pool with thermal water, reads a statement on the website of the Vojvodina government.
Certain number of people have already got a job, and new workers are still being hired. According to Bozovic, the priority is given to the people living in the municipality of Backi Petrovac. This project is backed by the municipality of Backi Petrovac and the local community of Glozan.
The complex spans 6,000 square meters and comprises 3,000 square meters of sports and fishing lakes, swimming pools with thermal water at 30 degrees Centigrade and 53 beds in bungalows and a hotel.
