Dream of nautical heaven on the Danube is coming true - Works on construction of Marina Oasa near Grocka kick off

Once deserted holiday resort of Investbanka is now organized, and the current owner of the complex, Dragan Jovanovic, says for eKapija that Mala Oasa is open to tourists and that it offers guests numerous fun and recreation facilities, as well as a peaceful rest and top-quality homemade and international cuisine.

- When it comes to accommodation, guests can choose between eight hotel rooms. All rooms have two beds and bathroom, high-quality furniture, central heating, water heating and air-conditioning systems, TV set, phone... There are also 12 two-bed bungalows with bathroom, high-quality furniture, floor heating system, TV set, phone...

As he says, the accommodation capacities are suitable for both short- and long-term stays. The offer includes overnight stay, bed and breakfast, half board, and full board.

A restaurant on a lifted platform is ideal for intimate meetings away from the "urban jungle", and the hosts are also willing to organize various celebrations.

- Thanks to the experience of top chefs, guests can enjoy the rich flavors of homemade and international cuisines. A nicely furnished indoor section of the restaurant is big enough for 40 to 60 people. During the summer season, the capacity of the restaurant's open-air section is 140 guests. However, for the needs of celebrations, up to 200 people can fit in that section – says the interlocutor of eKapija.

This small oasis on the Danube is also suitable for a family vacation because children can play in a nice park with toboggans, swings, climbing frames...

Just like we wrote earlier, construction of a new, modern and unique tourist nautical center in Serbia in the location of current Mala Oasa in Grocka on the Danube is in the pipeline.

- Implementation of the project envisaging the construction of the future tourist nautical center Marina Oasa in Grocka on the Danube commenced this year with the works on the lower terrace, which spans about 1.5 ha. This terrace, oriented towards the bank of the Danube, with the view of the Grocka city island, has fantastic potentials for the development of sports and recreation facilities.

On the lower terrace, the Marina Oasa project envisages the construction of facilities for nautical tourism and sports tourism. A contemporary marina is planned to be built at the bank of the Danube, and it will be big enough for over 50 river vessels of different size - from small scooters, motor boats and yachts to large tourist river cruisers.

When it comes to sports tourism services, guests will have the following at their disposal: an indoor sports hall with two courts for mini sports, which will comprise a fitness hall and a playground for children; four outdoor courts for mini sports with different surfaces; a beach volleyball court; a running track with cutting-edge tartan surface; an outdoor swimming pool at the bank of the Danube for adults and a swimming pool for children, spanning a total of 250 square meters, with all accompanying water attractions and slides.

Works on the formation of several outdoor courts for mini sports on the lower terrace are already underway. There will be two tennis courts with Domo Avantage artificial grass surface; a mini football court with Domo Champion artificial grass surface; a paved court for basketball, volleyball and tennis; a beach volleyball court; and two bowling courts.

Outdoor sports courts will be ready for use at the beginning of the next sports season.

The Marina Oasa project also envisages the construction of a new, modern hotel with 40 rooms, two conference halls, a restaurant and a wellness and spa center with all accompanying facilities in the location of the existing hotel with 8 two-bed rooms, large balcony and restaurant.

Also, the project envisages the construction of a new, modern suite block comprising 20 two-room suites with kitchen and bathroom in the location of the existing bungalows with 12 two-bed rooms.
