Sremski Karlovci gets five-star hotel - Prezident builds luxury facility with wellness and spa center

Sremski Karlovci will by the end of 2011 get a five-star hotel and, thus, become one of rare places in Serbia with an accommodation of that category. A great historical and cultural significance of Sremski Karlovci is one of the reasons why the company Prezident has decided to start the construction of a luxury hotel in that town.

In the very center of a housing project, at 2 Karadjordjeva street, the hotel guests will have at their disposal 25 rooms, a restaurant, and a ceremonial hall with about 300 seats. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a wellness and spa center, as well as an indoor swimming pool, a gym, and a sauna.

The look of Prezident hotel will be much different than the appearance of most other hotels of high category in our country because it is urbanistically adapted to the fairy-like surroundings of Sremski Karlovci.

- With its interior and exterior, the hotel will perfectly fit in the city ambient. Furniture has been very carefully chosen, there are a lot of antiques, so that the guests will be able to experience Sremski Karlovci at our hotel in a credible way. The space will be ideal for guests who want to organize their wedding reception in an original way because the facility is only few steps away from the church in the city center, and there is no other nearby space that can be used for events such as wedding ceremonies or significant business congresses - Ivona Borojevic, manager of President hotel, said in a statement for eKapija.

As Ms. Borojevic points out, the company Prezident has obtained all necessary permits for the construction from competent institutions, as well as a license from the Republic Cultural Heritage Preservation Institute, with which the company's architects have been intensively cooperating over the past few months.

- Our intention is to attract guests from the country and abroad, as well as to promote Sremski Karlovci as a special tourist destination. Once this hotel is built, Vojvodina and Serbia will have a representative facility, ideal for business and other events, which will give a new quality and identity to the tourist offer.

Prezident has already built one five-star hotel and it is situated in Novi Sad.
