Apartments away, villa for the day! - Celebrations in luxury houses with swimming pools are becoming a profitable business in Serbia

A select group of people (minus grandmothers, aunts and distant in-laws whom we see once and never again), who are willing to go outside the city for the sake of privacy and luxury, expect a "polite" wedding in the villas with white tablecloths swaying in the wind, just like in the Hollywood movies, or crazy parties by the pool before their most important day in life.

The villa rental package also includes the option of overnight stays in rooms or apartments, so guests can sleep over so they don't have to drive home drunk and tired after the party.

At the same time, this variant often "turns out" even cheaper than a wedding in a restaurant, where currently, at least in the more exclusive ones in the capital, the newlyweds have to pay 50 EUR per seat.

Namely, as eKapija was told at the Weekendica portal, a portal deals, among other things, with mediation in the rental of luxury houses for celebrations, such a villa with a swimming pool can be rented for a day starting from EUR 180 and even up to EUR 1,000, depending on the location, size and equipment.

Of course, if the client wants the entire organization of the celebration, including catering, the price increases proportionally to the desires.

In Weekendica, they confirm to us that celebrations in such villas take precedence in the celebration planning market, and point out that villas with a swimming pool are "number 1" when it comes to demand, especially in the summer period.

- Villas are mainly sought after in the suburbs of Belgrade and Novi Sad, and the most popular location with the most such properties on offer is Fruska Gora, but Avala and Kosmaj come close second, then come Barajevo, Lisovic... - the folks at Weekendica say and add that one villa in the peak season be booked up to 20 days a month.

Many decide to celebrate children's birthdays in luxurious villas equipped for that purpose, which is again more worthwhile than celebrating in expensive playhouses that charge parents EUR 500 for an "all inclusive" option with food and drinks, for an average of two hours of celebration...

Finally, as Weekendica tells us, the daily villas are also used for corporate parties. It is thus possible to rent such a property, for example, for cocktail parties or team buildings.

Some villas are even purpose-built for sale as celebration-villas, because the idea for a good business that brings good profits is obviously recognized.

On the slopes of Fruska Gora, in Vrdnik, one such area of 470 m2 is emerging. As stated in the ad, the property is designed as a space for various events such as team buildings and bachelor /bachelorette parties, and offers complete privacy with a stunning view of Fruska Gora. Once it is completed this year, as we were told by Art Real Estate, the sale intermediary, it will offer guests apartments with their own bathrooms, a lounge with a bar, a spa area with a jacuzzi and a swimming pool in the courtyard. The house is for sale for EUR 927,000.

And this is far from being the only such example, there are many similar urban villas with swimming pools currently under construction in the vicinity of Novi Sad, and many decide to rent them for celebrations, the folks at Art Real Estate told eKapija.
