First Holiday Inn Hotel Outside Belgrade to Be in Kragujevac – Beginning of Construction Reserved for 2023
Kragujevac will get a hotel of the international brand Holiday Inn Express and that will be the first hotel of this brand to be built outside Belgrade, it was said yesterday at the working meeting of the mayor of Kragujevac, Nikola Dasic, with representatives of International Hotel Group, Zivorad Vasic, the regional director of the group, and professor Dr Nikola Nakojevic, who presented the investment to the mayor and his associates.
– We are very happy to enter a city which is expanding, an industrial city, the fourth biggest one in Serbia, and we believe that one such city needs an international brand – said Zivorad Vasic, the regional director of IHG Group.
The hotel will be built in an attractive location not far from Lake Bubanj, have 73 rooms, two restaurants, large conference halls, with over 60 employees. The beginning of the construction is expected in the first quarter of next year. The completion deadline period is 18 months, that is, the opening is planned for May 2025.
