At the Old Palace, the look of the new Chinese shopping center which will be built in New Belgrade, was presented on Friday.

The project was presented by Deputy mayor of Belgrade Goran Vesic, Charge d'Affaires at the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade Tian Yishu and Eurasia Trade Center Director Zou Junyong.

Zou Junyong said that it was an important day, because, after the fire of 2021, the realization of the project of the construction of a modern shopping center would start.

– The new shopping center will certainly be one of the most modern and best shopping centers in Belgrade and Serbia – said Zou and added that, in addition to individual outlets, the new shopping center would also feature larger Chinese brands, which would get an opportunity to present their products in the market of Belgrade.

Vesic reminded that, several days before, at a public auction, the City of Belgrade had sold the land in the extension of Jurija Gagarina Street, where the new shopping center would be located.
