Copy linkSemi-Annual Real Estate Market Reaches EUR 2.9 Billion – Most Expensive Apartment Sold in New Belgrade
The total volume of money in the real estate market in Serbia in the half-year period amounted to nearly EUR 2.9 billion, according to the Republic Geodetic Authority’s Authoritative Report.
Last year, in the same period, the volume was around EUR 1.7 billion, in 2019, it was EUR 1.8 billion, and in 2018, it was EUR 1.6 billion.
The biggest share in the total number of contracts registered in the first half of 2021 pertained to sales and purchases (95%), whereas the number of sales and purchases was 60% higher than in the first half of 2020.
The most active month was March, when 13,417 contracts were registered, which is the new monthly record.
Nearly a fourth of the registered contracts pertains to the sales in the territory of the 17 municipalities of the City of Belgrade.
The most expensive apartment, expressed in the price per square meter, was sold in the Belgrade Waterfront location (EUR 9,721), whereas the most expensive old property in Vracar cost EUR 4,615 per square meter.
The most expensive apartment in Serbia was sold in New Belgrade for EUR 1,888,614, and the area is 399 m2.
The most expensive house was sold in Savski Venac for EUR 5 million.
The most expensive square meter of office space was sold in the Belgrade neighborhood of Cukarica, where each of the 26 square meters cost EUR 11,538.
The most expensive office space in Serbia was sold in New Belgrade for EUR 2.5 million.
The most expensive garage space was also sold in Cukarica, for EUR 40,000.
The most expensive square meter of agricultural land was sold in the Jakovo settlement at a price of EUR 24.9 per square meter for a parcel of 59 ares.
When it comes to agricultural land, the most expensive complex sold is located in the municipality of Backa Topola, where more than EUR 1.2 million was paid for 141 m2.
