Sale of Property of Beobanka in Bankruptcy Stopped – Over 7 Hectares of Land in Central Business Zone of New Belgrade Without an Owner for Now

The Deposit Insurance Agency has stopped the procedure of the sale of Beobanka in bankruptcy, and the amounts paid for the sales documentation and as deposits will be repaid to the bidders, the agency announced. As they told eKapija, the reason for stopping the process is the decision of the Commercial Court.

– The Commercial Court adopted the decision on the termination of the procedure. At the moment, we have no information about potential upcoming sales, but all the persons who expressed an interest in the procedure will be notified of the next sales procedure that is planned, in line with Article 133 of the Law on Bankruptcy Proceedings – the agency says.

This pertains to the ad about the sale of the property of Nova Livnica in New Belgrade, published on July 7, 2021.

The lot included 11 facilities in the central business zone of New Belgrade, the total area of which exceeds 38,000 square meters and which are located on building land parcels of a total of 7.37 hectares, as well as equipment.

The biggest facility is a metalworking building – a foundry on 35,400 square meters.

The initial price amounted to EUR 21.5 million.
