Restaurant and annexes abandoned almost two decades - The fate of the complex "Goldsmith Lakes" depends on the estimation of market value

The "Goldsmith Lakes" in the settlement Radoinja near Kokin brod, after almost two decades since it has been abandoned, could shine in new splendor.

Belgrade closed joint-stock Society "Recreatours," the owner of the complex, ordered the assessment of its market value, after which it will be decided on the further fate of the resort, which covers an area of 4 hectares, 80 acres and 17 m2.

- The "Goldsmith Lakes" consists of the central object, which was in the function of a restaurant, and of fourteen " free-items " (bungalows or annexes) - says for the" eKapija ", " Recreatours "s Architect, Biljana Rakic.

Central building has an area of 569 m2. It is located in the complex about 2.5 kilometers from Radoinjsko Lake and 6 km from the road Nova Varos - Uzice, the restaurant has a concrete filled area of 265 m2, which served as a summer garden.

It is equipped with electrical, water, sewerage and postal installations and lightning protection, but has no heating or fire protection.

The Property is not in use since 1991 , when it was deserted by the army. In addition to the kitchen, the central facility has the accommodation capacity (8 rooms) and a shop. As it hasn't been adequately maintained for years, it is in very poor condition. Carpentry is a dilapidated, the facade is run down, the roof is partialy leaking, and some glasses are broken.

Of the fourteen annexes, 10 of them in on the area of 231 m2. They have electricity and water connected to the sewerage and they have sanitation facilities. There is no heating, telephone, or fire protection. The other four annexes occupy an area of 153 m2 per unit.

All objects that belong to "Goldsmith Lakes" are connected to the public substation and do not have their own boiler rooms.

Next to the complex there is a community school, and the to Nova Varos is 20 km long.

As representatives of the company "Recreatours" said, only after the approximate price of the complex would be known it would be possible to say whether "Goldsmith Lakes" would be offered for sale or it would possibly get a strategic partner.
