Legalization fee can be paid in 240 installments

The Board members of the City Assembly of Belgrade adopted at the yesterday's (May 18, 2010) meeting the Supplement to the Decision on the measures for determination of the fee for organization of building land, which envisages the possibility of payment of the fee in 240 monthly installments for a housing space, regardless of its size, and an office space whose total net useful surface does not exceed 100 square meters.

– After the preliminary analysis of the number of submitted files and the ratio between housing and office space, we have made the decision to introduce the option of payment of the legalization fee in 240 monthly installments, that is, over the period of 20 years, which is proportionally similar to the majority of already approved mortgage loans in Belgrade and Serbia. In this way we fulfilled our promise that we are going to do everything to additionally facilitate payment of the legalization fee for the citizens, primarily for those who submitted their applications for legalization in the period between September 11, 2009, and March 11, 2010. These benefits will be available to all people who submitted the applications for legalization of a housing space, regardless of its size, and an office space whose total net useful surface does not exceed 100 square meters. We believe that the success of legalization process will justify such decision of the City Assembly - said Oliver Glišić, a member of the City Council.
