RETROSPECTIVE 2009 - investments in category of SPORT that drew greatest attention of eKapija's users in 2009
EKapija's investment team has recently done the analysis and formed the rank list of investments and investment ideas that drew the greatest attention of eKapija's users in 2009. The results are very interesting, with plenty of surprises, so that we've decided to share this information with you.
The projects are divided into 12 categories. This time we are presenting the top 10 in the category of SPORT.The general impression is that dominant investments are those that will make the youth sport accessible not only to the rich, so that the parents with smaller incomes will not be having trouble finding the best way how to say their child: "Son, we do not have money for so big membership fee", or, "I don't know, maybe playing football in front of the building is enough for you, and you also play sports at your gym class".
You've noticed that, over the past few years, many successful sports kids have the same surnames as the owners of big private industries, transportation companies, market chains, and that is not some planetary justice. Maybe some of these investments will expand that range, so that IT recreation in front of Facebook will be pushed to the background, while socialization and reception of the best sportmen in front of the Belgrade City Assembly will be much more frequent.
We want more swimmers like Nađa Higl and Milorad Čavić, basketball, football and water polo players, athletes, gymnasts, tennis magic in Arena, Serbian Open, University Games, football, tennis, volleyball and basketball academies, that mixture of beauty and power of one small nation, superiority in sports. We want some new young coaches to follow the steps of Antić, Ivković, Vujošević ...., that they have their sports homes for that, and these and similar stories maybe announce such times.
One more thing, it is nice that the Minister of Youth and Sport was more often wearing track suit than Chanel costume in 2009, as well as that she opened many new sports facilities.
The first-ranked on the list is the story about House of Football in Stara Pazova, which should be built prior to end of year 2010, at the surface of 11.5 ha. According to the preliminary project, construction of a hotel and 6 football fields for trainings of 15 Serbian footbal teams is in the pipeline. The project manager is the Football Association of Serbia, while the author of the draft project, which is in its final phase, is the Transportation Institute CIP. The Football Association of Serbia (FAS) got the donation of 2m EUR from the European Football Union (UEFA) for this project, and people in FAS also expect to get the donation from the World Football Federation (FIFA). According to some earlier announcements, between 8 and 11m EUR should be invested in this project.
The second on the list is National Training Center in Košutnjak, which was built thanks to the Universiade. It will provide the space for work of over 10 sports associations, while reconstruction of the trim track and expansion of the stadium are in the pipeline.
Three large and three small halls and the swimming pool in the renovated Sports Center make it possible for eight sports associations and the students of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, with which the Republic Sports Institute has signed the contract on cooperation, to use the National Training Center.
The third-ranked story is the result of another big sports competition - the Europe Junior Athletic Championship. That is why another important sports stadium in Serbia and Vojvodina - "Karađorđe" in Novi Sad, was renovated.
The fourth and the fifth stories are, in a way, mutually competitive because they are located in the vicinity of Topola and both are related to water sports and recreation on the water. They definitely represent a part of the future wine-historical tourist offer in Topola, "Serbian Toscana". That is why we wish luck to sports centers Sunčani Breg and Baikal !
The fifth-ranked on the list is future sports center Palisad on Zlatibor mountain, while the sixth is future sports beauty of south Serbia - multifunctional sports hall Car Konstantin in Niš.
The seventh are all events related to creation of tennis center in Dorćol, which hosted the first Serbia Open in May 2009.
While Crvena Zvezda and Partizan are struggling for decades to implement the projects for construction of their sports hall, private clubs know for slogan "First stable, then cattle!", so that, in addition to FMP that had three sports halls built, we were happy to hear that Sports Center Vizura got its THIRD sports hall - Vizura Sport in Zemun.
The ninth is the project for construction of indoor swimming pool in Kraljevo, while the tenth is National Gym in Kostolac.
