Czech MD Investments 2000 becomes owner of Marina Dorcol for RSD 3.8 billion
The company MD Investments 2000 has purchased the building land in the Marina Dorcol location in Belgrade.
As the sole bidder at today’s auction held at the Belgrade Land Development Public Agency, MD Investments 2000 has become the new owner of the 4-ha land, which it bought at the price of RSD 3.8 billion.
According to the data of the Business Registers Agency, MD Investments 2000 is registered in Cukarica, with a majority Czech capital, and is in the business of building residential and non-residential facilities.
On behalf of the company, the agreement was signed by its director, Peter Dajko, who is also the general manager of Avala Projects and the Czech-Serbia company Avala Studios, which announced the reconstruction of the former Avala Film last year.
As the deputy mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesic, said previously, in addition to the amount reached at the public bidding, the contribution for the development of the building land will be charged to the future investor for the facilities it plans to build and paid to the city budget.
As he said, according to the detailed regulation plan, the location belongs to a zone intended for commercial activities and residence, and, in addition to such facilities, there is an obligation of developing public-use green areas with trees.
– The maximum gross area of the facilities built in the location is 76,000 m2. The technical documentation for all the facilities and features to be built need to be approved by the Planning Commission of the City Assembly of Belgrade. Also, the future investor will need to comply with the conditions proscribed by the competent institutions when it comes to the protection of the area around the cultural monument TPP “Snaga i svetlost”, in order not to jeopardize its value – Vesic said, as reported by Beoinfo.
The Belgrade Land Development Public Agency terminated the contract with the then renter of one of the most expensive city locations two years ago.
