"Blok 67 Associates" handed over keys to complex "Belville" for forthcoming Universiade
Company "Blok 67 Associates" has handed over the keys to all facilities in New Belgrade's complex Belville to "Univerziade". The planting works in that complex are close to end. The green oasis of complex "Belville", with automatic watering system, will be decorated by total of 27 types of plants.
The complex at the parcel of 134,000 square meters comprises 14 residential and 2 business buildings at total surface of 260,000 square meters, and it is the largest complex of the kind in Southeast Europe. That "small town" where about 10,000 sportsmen will be accommodated is ready for the forthcoming Universiade.
- This project was a challenge for the entire building industry of Serbia - says Slobodan Mihajlović, the Executive Director of "Blok 67".
- The main contractor was "Delta invest". There were over 20 subcontractors, and all of them were local companies. Between 2,000 and 3,500 workers were on the building site every day, while certain phases required work in three shifts. It takes between 24 and 36 months for such complex to be developed according to European and world's standards, while it took us less than 19 months to finish the works.
