Location of future Cargo-Transportation Center Apatin to be covered with sand – next step is construction of terminal

The Directorate for Development of Apatin and "Dunav grupa - agregati" from Novi Sad have signed the contract for works on covering of the location of future Cargo-Transportation Center Apatin (RTC Apatin) with sand.

The contract was signed by Milovan Rubežić on behalf of Novi Sad-based "Dunav grupa - agregati" and Milan Pavković, the CEO of the Directorate for Development of Apatin.

According to the contract, the works on covering of the location of RTC Apatin with sand will be carried out in four phases. The works from the first phase, worth 50m RSD, will start immediately, and they should be completed within 50 calendar days.

The value of aforementioned works is 191m RSD.

Once the works on covering of the location of RTC Apatin with sand are over, the objective conditions will be created for commencement of construction of the transportation terminal and concretization of construction of factory units and facilities by seriously interested local and foreign potential investors.

The contract was signed in the presence of the Mayor of Apatin, Dr. Živorad Smiljanjić, and his closest associates: Miodrag Bakić, the Deputy Mayor, Mirko Cvetićanin, the Deputy President of Town Hall of Apatin, and Jovo Korać, the Investment Adviser.
