Shopping centre and residential and office complex instead of the famous Sajkaca in Leskovac - Metla Komerc announced the construction of the modern complex worth EUR 6 million
(The look of the future shopping centre) By the end of the next year the residents of Leskovac should get a modern shopping centre together with the residential and business complex located in the place of Okrugli Paviljon, or the popular Sajkaca.
Namely, Metla Komerc, a company that bought Leskovac fair last year announced its renovation.
- There's a process of getting a permit is in the works, which we expect will be done in a month. After receiving the permit and satisfying all the necessary conditions we will begin with project realization. Time for completion is the end of 2019 according to out project, the company states for our portal.
As the company explains, reconstruction would comprise of changing the existing joinery, reconstruction of the roof structure, interior reorganization of space which will add a concrete slab that will reinforce the building and separate the upper and lower storeys and building in elevators and escalators.
- So, we will ensure all activities are covered so that we can make the building functional and make a modern shopping centre out of the existing fair with supporting elements and logistics which will make proud all the citizens of Leskovac, they point out.
They will also receive experts' help since they're collaborating Cushman&Wakefield agency on this project, a leading firm in its line of work not only in Serbia but around the world too.
- In our case, they will provide consulting services and will act as intermediaries between us and interested parties.

Let us remind that when Metla Komerc bought Leskovac fair from Delta Real estate in July last year the construction of a future residential and business complex was also announced. The number of apartment available to residents in Leskovac and the size of the space allocated for business will be additionally specified after all the permits are received, Metla Komerc says.
