Third tender announced for sale of hotel "Investbanka" on Kopaonik mountain-price lower by 40%

The Deposit Insurance Agency of Serbia announced today (December 9, 2008) the third tender for sale of hotel Investbanka on Kopaonik after it cut the starting price by 40%, to 4.31m EUR.

This four-star hotel in Staro Rudište is a part of property of Investbanka in bankruptcy. Its surface is 2,239 square meters and it will be offered for sale together with the entire inventory and the right on use of 18 are of land.

The hotel is about 500 meters away from the center of the tourist complex on Kopaonik, next to the ski lift, and it has 140 beds in 33 suites.

The condition for participation in the tender is that the buyer pays the deposit of 431,000 EUR and submits the bid prior to December 19th.

Starting price for hotel Investbanka on the first unsuccessful tender, which was closed on September 26, 2008, amounted to 594m RSD (about 7.7m EUR), while the price on the second tender, announced in October, was 6m EUR.

The Deposit Insurance Agency has also offered holiday hostel "Grocka", a part of property of Investbanka in bankruptcy, for sale on the tender at the starting price of 564,617 EUR.

The deposit for participation in the tender amounts to 56,500 EUR, while the deadline for submission of bids is December 19th.

Public opening of bids is schedulled for December 23rd and it will take place in the premises of the Deposit Insurance Agency in Belgrade.
