Second auction for sale of "Inex interexport's" building in Belgrade's downtown ended in failure

The second auction for sale of "Inex interexport's" building in Belgrade's downtown has attracted no buyers. Nobody was willing to pay 2.72m RSD for the 21-floor building and 12,900 square meters of space yesterday (November 18, 2008), although the price was lowered from the initial 3.2 billion RSD.

According to the yesterday's exchange rate, the price of the building of "Inex" in Belgrade's Kraljice Marije Street amounted to about 2,440 EUR per square meter.

It seems that nobody either bought the tender documentation, which cost about 150,000 RSD, or paid the deposit of 1.28 billion RSD.

In addition to business building of "Inex Inetrexport" in bankruptcy, a business facility at 190 square meters in Vršac, an apartment at 33.5 square meters in Belgrade and a passenger automobile were also offered for sale.

An office space at 165 square meters within "Inex's" building was also offered for sale at that auction and its starting price was 68.7m RSD. However, the auction was declared unsuccessful.
