New projects in sports-recreation complex "Adica" - hotel, indoor pool, film town, big benefits for investors
Accommodation facility in Sports-Recreation Center "Adica" in Ada, at 500 square meters and with 32 beds, should be completed prior to the end of year 2008. As Zlatko Prekajski from Town Hall of Ada explained, 36m RSD has, so far, been invested in this hotel, which is, primarily, intended for accommodation of sportsmen in the period of preparations, and its completion will require additional 15m RSD.
- We still need to organize interior. People from the Ministry of Economy promised to help us in completion of this project. Since the hotel is situated within complex "Adica", it is intended for sportsmen and it is designed in accordance with its future purpose. It has 16 two-bed rooms with TV set and air conditioning system, and it will have 3 stars –Prekajski points out and announces new investments "Adica".
As he pointed out, SRC "Adica" already includes ZOO, three outdoor swimming pools, three football fields and three tennis courts, handball court, trim and athletic tracks, and the development of a mini golf court worth 40,000 EUR is in the pipeline in 2009.
- SRC "Adica" should also get an A-category hotel, as well as bungalows. However, we need a significant investor for realization of such ideas and we are willing to allot the land to that investor. The Assembly has already decided to reserve 1,000 square meters of land within the complex for that purpose. Also, we are ready to allot current premises of ORTC in order to have them reorganized, which would make it possible for use to offer an indoor pool to the market –Prekajski explains.
As Prekajski explained, Town Hall of Ada agreed with the family of famous singer Đorđe Balašević that the film town, which was installed within complex "Adice" for the purpose of shooting of movie "Kao rani mraz", stays there.
- Everything is done in agreement with production company "Salajka". About 300,000 EUR worth of scenery and equipment will stay in the complex. We will only have to move the town to the other part of the complex, which we called “recreational”, prior to spring 2009 because of the Tisa river. Production company "Salajka" paid for the equipment that we later refinanced through sponsorships and similar models, so that the we are going to keep the whole complex for good. In addition to the fact that it will be a tourist attraction, the film town will also be used for practical rehearsals of the students from the Faculty of Drama Arts, and we also plan to rent the equipment –Zlatko Prekajski pointed out and added that the relocation of the film town cost about 50,000 EUR.
